Uttar Pradesh is prioritizing the early identification and reporting of emerging zoonotic diseases through a One Health approach. The Animal Husbandry Department, in collaboration with the Forest and Wildlife Department, conducted active surveillance for Avian Influenza among wild migratory birds at 19 wetland sites under the RISE Global Health Security Project.
