Sites Blog & CMS Sync

Sync news articles and social updates to your WordPress website via REST API and Application Passwords.

WordPressREST API
Location in App:app.hyperfast.in > Sites > Blog

Overview

If your organization relies on WordPress for content distribution, HyperFast connects directly to the native WordPress REST API. Publish drafts or live posts with full HTML formatting, tags, and featured images without installing bloated plugins.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Generate WordPress Application Password

In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Users > Profile. Scroll down to 'Application Passwords', type 'HyperFast', and click 'Add New Application Password'. Copy the generated 24-character token.

2

Authenticate in HyperFast

Go to HyperFast Workspace > Integrations > WordPress. Enter your Site URL, WordPress Username, and the Application Password.

3

Configure Post Mapping

Select which WordPress author and categories should be assigned to incoming HyperFast articles.

4

Publish to WordPress

When creating any news story or post, select your WordPress site as a target destination to publish instantly.

Prerequisites & Preparation

  • A WordPress website (version 5.6 or higher) running on HTTPS.
  • Administrator or Editor credentials in your WordPress admin panel.

Troubleshooting & Edge Cases

Authentication error 401 on WordPress connect?

Ensure Application Passwords are enabled on your WordPress host and not stripped by caching reverse proxies (e.g. Cloudflare or Nginx auth header pass-through).
